Biography

Taylor Deneen is a singer, songwriter, and vocal producer from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Her music draws from a range of genre influences, from R&B/soul and jazz, to contemporary pop. Some of her stage time has even included performing for Dee Dee Bridgewater, The Eagles, and receiving a standing ovation from Epic Records very own, Sylvia Rhone.

As a child, Taylor quickly fell in love with singing, and began performing in local talent shows and school events. The National YoungArts-winner honed her craft over the years, performing at various venues and events in and around Oklahoma City, building a loyal following along the way. She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she received a dual-degree in Professional Music and Contemporary Writing & Production. During her time there, she studied under Grammy Award-winning musical director, Rob Lewis (Toni Braxton and Brian McKnight), Tia Fuller (Beyoncé), Gabrielle Goodman (Roberta Flack), and songwriter-producer Swagg R’Celious Harris (H.E.R.), crafting her gifts as a performer and writer. She won the Voice Department’s Outstanding Performer Award in 2019.

Taylor is known for her dynamic live performances, which often feature her signature powerhouse vocals and engaging stage presence, backed by notable venues and media outlets including Sofar Sounds, Boston.com, and The Oklahoma City Herald. Her song lyrics are also deeply personal yet relatable, drawing from her own experiences and struggles, and often touch on themes of love, heartbreak, and self-empowerment. With her passion for music and dedication to her craft, Taylor Deneen is a rising star to watch in the world of R&B.
